Dealing with Difficult People Seminar
Join us for the "Dealing with Difficult People Seminar," a comprehensive three-day workshop designed to equip professionals with the tools and techniques to handle challenging interpersonal dynamics in the workplace. Taking place from December 12–14, 2024, at the C’mon Inn in Missoula, Montana, this seminar will focus on two key areas: customer service excellence and effective interpersonal relationship strategies. Participants will engage in hands-on activities, including individual tasks and small group collaborations, to develop tailored responses to real-world scenarios that impact today’s workplaces. At $650, this investment in your professional growth includes expert-led sessions, interactive group work, and practical applications of workplace theories.
The agenda for this seminar is packed with engaging and insightful sessions. Day 1 kicks off with registration, team-building activities, and an exploration of customer service best practices, such as questioning strategies, handling challenging telephone scenarios, and applying Maslow’s Hierarchy to improve service delivery. Day 2 delves deeper into interpersonal dynamics with sessions on handling workplace bullies, developing habits bosses appreciate, and role-playing effective responses to difficult coworkers. The seminar concludes on Day 3 with participant presentations, group evaluations, and actionable next steps for implementing what has been learned. Noxious Weeds and Invasive Species Knapweed
Noxious weeds prevention and eradication on the eastern edge of Glacier National Park is an issue that should concern us all. These unwanted blights threaten native plants and animals by competing for nutrients. Brought to Blackfeet Indian Reservation, Glacier National Park and surrounding area by highway travel, rafts, cattle, and railroad, these weeds are difficult to combat, so awareness is key. ILLI staff are leaders in raising consciousness and performing actions to prevent and eradicate the noxious weed. We contribute 5% of gross sales to efforts that prevent and eradicate noxious weeds in the area of Blackfeet Indian Reservation and Glacier National Park.
Youth Executive Skills Development
Partnering with the worthy organizations, Inside Lakes Learning Institute provides 5% of gross revenue to provide skill-building education and activities for youth on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation. ILLI believes in developing future leaders in the areas of executive skills such as substance abuse prevention, self-control, empathy, academics, and community service.
